Blood of Christ...
It seems we are on a path of total chaos. Our species primarily lends itself to the procreation of a destructive affiliation: money and religion - greed and lies. This has left our planet shrouded in a veil of true darkness. How long can this breeding of chaos continue? When will the flames consume all? We are the virus within the disease...

Clarity....
Clarity-

Life can be brand new when you open your eyes.
Coming too, jumpin off the path that lead to lies.
Intersections of time with decisions as the tool.
A simple choice off the beaten path is the jewel.
Not to long ago there was no choice
Today we are free and have every right to rejoice
Minutes, seconds, moments in time have such power
Based in a choice that our disease can not devour.
Together we share hope with our eyes wide open
With an awareness of self we find new ways of coping.
Walking with light through the force of faith.
We can accept our past rather than erase.
Many times we've heard, its okay to just be
For its the nature of truth that sets us free.

The Small Things.
Remember the small things, which color your life,
a rainbow, a flower, a star, or a kite.
These are the things that will follow your days,
even as others disappear in a haze.
The laughter of your children, will still ring so clear,
even when music, no longer you hear.
Everyone ages, that fact is quite clear,
and age can be cruel, and it can bring fear.
But while others are stressing over each new ache or pain,
you'll be remembering the sweet smell of rain.
As you grow old, you remember much less,
of whats most important... That's the price of success.
But if you can put your success on a shelf,
and still roll in the grass, still be good to yourself.
Then aging will never bring physical pain,
and life will not steal what's left of your brain.
So remember one thing. A small thing.. Inside.
Remember down deep, that small child you hide.
Don't give up the giggle, the whisper, the cheer,
don't give up the laughter, or what you hold dear.
As another birthday passes from sight,
remember the small things which color your life.

.::Changed Man::.
Changed Man
Daniel R.
4/01/2004
I was such an angry young man
Filled with rage and hate
Some of you may not understand
But this was, this poor mans fate
Did a lot of drugs and drank a lot of beer
Filled with anger and lots of fear
If you crossed my path, I wanted to fight
Never had a worry
Always figured I was right
Paid no attention while I was in school
Figured that was the way of the fool
Drank as much as I could get
Drank to remember and drank to forget
Than one day I tried to quit
I was so down deep in a pit
Time had made a very deep scar
Drove me near crazy but not to far
I got down on my knees to pray
God if your there
Please come my way
Had to surrender
Than I had to admit
My life was unmanageable
I was crazy a just a bit
Turned my will and life
Over to God above
He touched this broken man
Filled him with His love
Than I started to take an inventory
My whole life became a new story
Admitted to God and man
Tried my best to understand
I became ready for God
To remove my defective traits
Doing my best and praying
God don't let it be to late
Humbly asked God to remove the stumbling blocks
Turn them to stepping stones
Heal this broken man and lead him to a new home
Made a list of those I had harmed
Than set out to make amends
Now my life is beautiful
I've got so many new friends

.::One Day at a Time::.
.::One Day at a Time::.

There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,
Two days which should be kept free
of fear and apprehension.

One of these days is
YESTERDAY,
With its mistakes and cares,
Its faults and blunders, Its aches and pains.
YESTERDAY
has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back
YESTERDAY.
We cannot undo a single act we performed;
We cannot erase a single word we said.

YESTERDAY is gone.

The other day we should not worry about is
TOMORROW
with its possible adversities, its burdens, its larger promise.
TOMORROW
is also beyond our immediate control.

TOMORROW,
the sun will rise,
Either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,
But it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in
TOMORROW
For it is as yet unborn.

This leaves only one day -
TODAY.

Any man can fight the battles of just one day.
It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities
- YESTERDAY and TOMORROW -
That we break down.

It is not the experience of TODAY that drives men mad.
It is remorse or bitterness for something which happened
YESTERDAY
And the dread of what
TOMORROW
may bring.

Let us, therefore, live but
ONE day at a TIME.
